30 Days of Journalling - Days 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16

So I am really really behind with my journal. The reason is because my mother thinks it is pathetic and a waste of time, and whenever I sit down to do my pages she gets seriously antagonised by it. I had planned to catch up on my missed days when she went on holiday a couple of weeks ago but what with the weather here being so cold and me using a lot of paint, it took forever to dry so I ended up spending 2 days on some pages which left me even more behind!

I was really hoping to catch up before the end of the month but i'm not sure how realistic that is now.

Anyway here are the pages from days 8 - 16.

The prompt for 8th June was:

'If you were able to design the house of your dreams, what would it look like?'

My page -

The prompt for 9th June was:

'If you could scream something at the top of your lungs right now, what would it be?'

My page -

The prompt for 10th June was:

'Today we will make a list of all of the projects we would like to accomplish this summer.'

My page -

The prompt for 11th June was:

  'How do you love?'

My page -

The prompt for 12th June was:

'What are some of your favorite places or spaces'

My page -

I'm really not happy with how this page turned out. I think it looks terrible.

The prompt for 13th June was:

'Imagine your favorite book character, what do they look like?

My page -

I chose Stargirl Carraway from the book Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli.

The prompt for 14th June was:

 'What roles do you play?'

My page -

The prompt for 15th June was:

'This summer, I will not be defined by....'

My page -

The prompt for 16th June was:

'Today is the day to use your imagination and imagine a world full of things you would like to see!'

My page -

Phew! That was a long post. Hopefully I should get a few more pages done tomorrow. *Fingers crossed*

My blog is a year old today! Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my ramblings and all those who have made nice comments over the past year. It means a lot. :)

PS: I will get back to my 30 Days of Journaling tomorrow (I will explain why i've missed a few days)!

30 Days of Journaling: Day 6 and 7

So i'm a day behind with my journaling. Oops. But yesterday I was so tired (I usually do my pages in the evening) that I fell asleep before i'd finished.

The prompt was:

'What does summer feel like?  What does summer look like?  What does summer smell like?  What does summer sound like? and What does summer taste like?'

Here's my page (I had to take the picture with the flash off so it may be a bit blurry) -

Today's prompt was:

'What is happiness?  What defines your happiness?  What makes you happy?'

Here's my page -
Hopefully I don't fall asleep next time!

30 Days of Journaling: Day 5

Today's prompt was:

'What do you believe in?'

Originally I had wanted this page to have a white background but on of my cats got mud on it (it was definitely mud and not poop!) so I had to add a bit of colour to cover it up.

Here it is -

21 things to do before I turn 22

I failed miserably with last year's list having only completed 2 of the things fully by the time I reached my 21st birthday last week, so I was a bit reluctant to write out another list and face failing again. I have suffered some unexpected health problems in the past year which have made trying to achieve my goals somewhat more difficult than usual - but goals are good and i've tried to make the ones on this year's list slightly more attainable to avoid disapointment.

Some of the old goals from last year are still on the list but i've added some new ones too.

My list:
1. Drive further than Rhyl on my own.
2. Complete my ROY G. BIV hair project
3. Go to the Vintage Village market
4. Learn a new craft
5. Continue my weight loss
6. Get a new piercing
7. Get a new tattoo
8. Go to the cinema alone
9. Go to Afflecks Palace
10. Bake a cake that actually tastes good
11. Go to Alton Towers and ride on Rita and Thirteen
12. Watch at least 50 more of the IMDB top 250 films
13. Watch something other than a film in the cinema
14. Go to a concert
15. Go see a play
16. Enter at least 3 things in the village show
17. Visit Bodnant Garden
18. Go to the zoo
19. Get a pet fish
20. Read at least 25 books
21. Have a meal at Con Amici

30 Days of Journaling: Day 4

Today's prompt was:

'Go outside, set up a little journaling area, and see where your mind takes you. Journal it.'

I had a lot of fun taking pictures for this, I took lots more than I included on my page. Unfortunately it didn't turn out as pretty as i'd hoped.

Here it is -

It looks even worse in real life than it does on the photo - which is a first for me!

30 Days of Journaling: Day 3

Today's prompt was:

'Use your name as an Acrostic to tell us all a little bit about yourself.'

I always used to hate having poetry assignments in school so this was rather a challenge for me.

Here's my rather pathetic attempt -

30 Days of Journaling: Day 2

Today's prompt was:

'Create 3-5 tangible goals for this journal challenge'

I got the wrong end of the stick a little bit and did my page on general goals for this month that are non journal related....oopsie. *embarrassed*

Here's my page anyway -

I have to say that the gold paint is by far the worst I have ever used. It had all these weird lumps in it. I don't know what the hell was going on!

30 Days of Journaling: Day 1

So i'm doing another '30 Days of Journaling' courtesy of Janel at Run With Scissors.

The first prompt was:

'Introduction page'

Here it is -

This is the first time that i've not used a homemade booklet for my journal, so it's going to be a bit of a challenge for me as there are exactly 30 pages in the pad and if I mess up i'm just going to have to get on with it.

ROY G. BIV Hair Project - Part 4

Last night my friend came round to the house to dye my hair. It was long, long overdue - I hadn't had it cut or bleached since July last year when I first started my rainbow hair project - but I just couldn't face going to the hairdressers.
My friend works in the salon I usually go to so i'm not 100% sure what dye she used but i'm pretty sure it was the Directions brand and from looking at the colour chart I think the colour is either Atlantic or Lagoon Blue.
I'd say this is probably my least favourite colour so far but even so I still think it looks quite nice.

This is also the shortest i've ever had my fringe....i'm not sure if it suits me to be honest.
