Happy Half-Birthday to me!

A very merry unbirthday to me
To who?
To me

Oh you!

A very merry unbirthday to you

Who me?

Yes, you!

Oh, me!

Let's all congratulate us with another cup of tea

A very merry unbirthday to you!
Now, statistics prove, prove that you've one birthday
Imagine, just one birthday every year
Ah, but there are three hundred and sixty four unbirthdays!
Precisely why we're gathered here to cheer
A very merry unbirthday to you, to you
To me?
To you!
A very merry unbirthday
For me?
For you!

Now blow the candle out my dear
And make your wish come true
A merry merry unbirthday to you!

"The Unbirthday Song" from Disney's Alice in Wonderland

So today is my half-birthday, the most important unbirthday of all. This means that as of today I am 21 and a half years old, that's half way to 22 - eek!  It also means that I only have 6 months left to complete my 21 things to do before I turn 22 list. So far i've still only completed two of them (learn a new craft and enter at least 3 things into the village show) but i'm over half way to completing the 'watxh at least 50 more of of the IMDB top 250 films' one. At this stage I very much doubt i'm going to complete them all but i'm going to do my best to get through as many as I can.

We don't have Thanksgiving in the UK which I've always thought was a shame. It seems like such a happy, family orientated time without all the added stress that comes with Christmas.
I know I haven't posted in a couple of weeks, the reason being that I haven't had access to a computer (I still don't, I'm currently typing this via my mobile for the very first time so I apologise in advance for any mistakes!) but I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has taken the time to read and comment on my blog over the past 18 months. It means a lot. :)
