A Country Wedding

My cousin got married at the weekend. The weather wasn't great but it still didn't put a dampener on things. It was a wonderful day.
I didn't take many pictures so this isn't going to be an 'image heavy' post but I thought i'd share some of the few I took.

The Church.

The entrance to the reception marquee.

Equine themed favours at the bottom of a champagne flute.

Wedding cupcake.

The happy couple.

What I've Been Playing: Robot Unicorn Attack 2, Farm Heroes Saga, Bubble Witch Saga 2

The Sequel to Robot Unicorn Attack, and endless running game by Adult Swim. I've never played the original game but I saw this on Google Play store and thought that as I like robots and love unicorns then I must be onto a winner. The graphics are wonderful. Visually, it's the best game i've ever played on Android or iPhone. It also has the best soundtrack. The default tracks are The Land of Rainbows and The Fantasy is Real, both by Module but there are others you can purchase including Always by Erasure (which was apparently the default track in the original game) and Never Ending Story by Limahl.
You can also upgrade your unicorn via 'fairies' you collect whilst playing the game and you can unlock other worlds by completing goals or in some cases, paying real money.
I found the game itself quite tough, tougher than any other endless running game i've played and at times it can be quite frustrating. The main downside is the large memory space it takes up. I've been playing it on a brand new Samsung Galaxy which doesn't have many apps or photos on it yet but i've still found that the game freezes a lot.
On the whole I really enjoyed playing it and would definitely recommend checking it out, if only for the awesome visuals and soundtrack.

A match three (or more) game by King, the makers of Candy Crush Saga. The game is pretty simple yet fun and rather addictive. You basically just have to match at least 3 fruit, vegetables or eggs - known as 'cropsies' in the game - until you have collected the required amout to complete the level. You have a certain number or moves in which to do this which gives the game its difficulty, but it is still  fairly easy to  progress quickly through each level. There are road blocks after every 15 levels or so which you can bypass by either linking the game to your Facebook account and asking friends to help, by collecting animals in specific levels or, of course, by paying money. Another way to progress thorough the game is to wait for 3 days until the road block unlocks itself. That may be a little tedious for some but as I don't have a Facebook account, didn't get a high enough score on the animal collection levels and am unwilling to pay real money then it's my only choice!
In short, Farm Heroes Saga is like Candy Crush Saga but instead of switching candies you're switching 'cropsies'. A fun game and a good way to while away a few spare minutes.

The sequel to the popular Bubble Witch Saga, a bubble shooter game by King. I was a huge fan of the original game so was excited to see what Bubble Witch Saga 2 was like. The main objectives of the game are the same as the first but there are new features, like 'Free the Ghost' and 'Free the Animals' levels and the graphics are a lot sharper and more 3 dimensional.
I found the game to be a little harder than the original as instead of having to tap to shoot the bubbles, you now have to point and release, which makes the shots more difficult to fire accurately. Despite this, I quickly progressed through all the levels available and eagerly awaited the update of more. The latest 20 levels released are proving to be an awful lot more challenging that the previous ones and it's easy to get stuck on the same level for a number of days. As the levels get harder, the more precision you need, which with the new point and release shooter is a major drawback.
While still fun, I definitely prefer the original Bubble Witch Saga but the sequel is still worth a look at.
