International Geek Girls Pen Pals Club

International Geek Girls Pen Pal Club is a 'club' for geek-orientated girls (and boys!) over the age of 13 who love snail mail and letter writing.
Members are split into four different houses depending on their age - House Granger for 13-17, House Quinn for 18-24, House GLaDos for 25-30 and House Organa for 30+.
Each month members can register for a pen pal, and you'll be asked to fill out a form listing your top 5 geek loves. At the end of the registration period you'll be paired with someone in your age group who (hopefully!) has similar interests to you. You can then contact each other via email to exchange postal addresses, then, all being well, you should officially have a pen pal!

I joined a few months ago and was successfully paired with my pen pal, Kayla, and we have been swapping letters ever since.

Last week the site hosted an online summer camp which was super fun. I got to 'meet' some really cool people and took part in a plethora of activities and games, and watched some interesting webinars and Google Hangouts on subjects such as the biology of zombies and everyday cosplay. The videos are still available on the IGGPPC YouTube channel. I would thoroughly recommend checking them out.

If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, then you can sign up for the current pen pal round until 31st August.

Have fun!
